Release notes

2.2.11.13

Released: October 13, 2026

  • GSSD-1419: Binary and varbinary columns take their declared length in the temp table used by large batches, instead of defaulting to one byte and failing every batch of 2000 bindings or more with "String or binary data would be truncated";

2.2.11.4

Released: September 21, 2026

  • Added the source lag probe, reporting the unread change backlog and how far behind the last read transaction is;

2.2.10.16

Released: September 1, 2026

  • GSSD-1320: Fixed error during bulk operation enable when schema already created;

2.2.10.14

Released: August 28, 2026

  • Added support for older versions of the database that do not support TLS 1.2 (e.g. SQL Server 2008/2012 without patches). See TLS troubleshooting;

2.2.10.13

Released: August 21, 2026

  • Target character columns: a value longer than its target column is now refused instead of being stored truncated with the transaction reported as written. Affects the IBM i series, Informix, MS SQL Server and Oracle targets, on the direct and the bulk write path alike (GSSD-1292, GSSD-1267);

  • MS SQL Server and Oracle targets: a failed insert batch is retried as an upsert only when the target already holds the row, so a rejection from the server is no longer turned into a truncation;

2.2.10.12

Released: August 18, 2026

  • Fixed recursion protection missing in bi-directional pipelines that mix CDC and Change Tracking: every target now writes both markers, driven by the enableRecursionProtection flag alone;

2.2.10.11

Released: August 17, 2026

  • Added logging of the rows rejected by a failed batch, behind the new logFailedBatchRows target property;
